Going Away Party!
We are so grateful to our families for hosting a party for us. It was so special to see so many people who are important to us!

We have a contract!
PRAISE GOD!!!
I was starting to wonder if it would ever happen, but thanks to our new agent, we have a contract on our house! YAY!!! Things are happening pretty rapidly, the buyers seem eager to close. It certainly didn't end up the way we planned, but it is enough. I pray daily that David and I will live our lives with generous hearts and only take what we really need. Shane Claiborne refers to the story of the exodus, "when God rains down manna from heaven and assures the Israelites that there will be enough. When they save some for the next day, God sends maggots to destroy their stockpile...Over and over we hear the promise that if we take only what we need, there will be enough."

For the Fam
My friend, Rachel, has a blog spot and I enjoy checking it to see pictures of her new baby and read about her life. Thought I would start one to keep our family and friends "in the know" re: our life in Denver!
We had a really good Open House yesterday that left us feeling hopeful. We have a new agent who I think will help push this thing through. The past 6 months have been a lesson in patience and trust!
We went to the "River of Life" service last night at Grace and the worship team sang "The River." When they sang "I'm letting go of all I hold on to...let it wash away" I started to cry. It has been so hard to let go of my job, my house, my family, my church...BUT, we feel we are doing what we need to do to be faithful and that makes it okay.
