Thanksgiving

It was very weird not being with our families on Thanksgiving this year! We went to our friends', Amy and Eric, for Thanksgiving dinner. Eric cooked the turkey and stuffing, and I brought mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and green bean casserole. I used Patty's recipe for mashed potatoes but I don't think they were as good as hers!

My mom and David's parents were kind enough to send an "advance" on David's Christmas gift this year. He was able to buy a new snowboard and boots so he is ready for ski season. He was assembling everything this weekend and I thought I'd take a picture since it seemed as close to a "Christmas morning" experience as a 27-year-old can have. Here's my husband with his new toys...

Oh! I almost forgot...I turned in my LAST paper today so I am officially done with my first quarter of seminary! :)

We missed you at Thanksgiving! Did you tell Amy and Eric how grateful I was that they invited you over? How many times did you tell them??? At least three????? :-)
I love David's new toys, but tell him I do not want to borrow them, so he need not worry about that.
Congratulations on a good first quarter - of school and of your new life. Well done, both of you...
Love,
Mom C

Tiffany - Congrats on your semester end! I trust your grades will reflect your efforts. Now you can enjoy your break to rest up for next semester and have fun with David when he's not working or sleeping!
David - The board and boots look great! But you gotta hide those knobby knees! They're distracting in the pic! Just kidding!

Glad you got your Christmas gift David.
