Or at least disable Google.
New mamas should not be allowed to google at 2 a.m.
Evidently, since I decided to stop worrying about Milo's sleeping and feeding schedule, my brain is compensating by worrying about other things, like that maybe Milo has developed autism since he got his shots last week. Or that maybe he is blind. (I kid you not, yesterday I convinced myself he might be blind.)
Last night I was in bed using my phone to google "baby overheating." This conversation with David ensued:
David: (awakened by the light coming from my BlackBerry) Are you ok?
Me: I think maybe Milo is overheating. Overheating can cause SIDS.
(Silence)
Me: Do you think I should go wake Milo up and take off his onesie? I probably shouldn't have put a onesie on underneath his pajamas.
(Silence)
Me: Well, do you???
David: Milo's sleeping?
Me: Yes.
David: No. You do not need to go wake him up to take off his onesie.
(Silence)
Me: Ok. But if Milo overheats and dies, it's your fault!
David: Ok.
Like I said, an intervention MIGHT be necessary.

If it is necessary, I will make an intervention! I will make a banner too like on How I Met Your Mother. I can image its hard not to be anxious about things. Hang in there!
Um, see your previous post, my friend. :) And remember what I told you on the phone!
Oh, Tif, I LOVE you!!!! Yes, google should be off-limits for new mamas, and prob. depressed pregnant mamas too. My new psychiatrist told me I'm not allowed to research anything if I get pregnant again. :) I was INSANE with the researching, and I had a bro in med school who gave me access to the electronic database at his med school's library so I had an entire arsenal of medical studies on every thing that could possibly go wrong at my fingertips. SO not good. Kisses and hugs to you. :)
HAHAH! I'm laughing so hard right now because I can just totally picture this conversation!! :) Plus I already google every stinking little question I have about pregnancy. Matt will come up to the computer and read aloud, "bloating in pregnancy" or "heart palpitations in pregnancy" and I get embarrased.
And I've seen the interventions on How I Met Your Mother so I also think a banner might be useful.
BTW, it's time to change your profile!
This made me giggle!! I have totally been there! I was telling Bryce the part: "Me: Ok. But if Milo overheats and dies, it's your fault!" And before I even told him David's response Bryce answered "OK". Somehow they really are stress free about most things- annoying and reassuring at the same time!
