Part Two: The Reception

Last weekend we drove to KC for Carrie's reception. The trip went by fast (as always!) and there wasn't enough time to see everyone we love. The reception was BEAUTIFUL and a ton of fun. I am grateful for good friends and good times...

Good News and Bad News

So, the GOOD news is we got approved to move into a new apartment! It has a dishwasher, washer/dryer, and AIR CONDITIONING!!! (It has been REALLY hot. Zoe spends most of her time under the bed where it is cool!)

The bad news is we found out how much health insurance will be when David goes down to 2 days a week. 3 days is full time, 2 days is part time. Instead of being $100/month for both of us, it will jump to $340/month!!! =( We are trying to figure out an alternative because we definitely can't afford THAT. *Sigh*

My 27th Birthday

Even though I was away from family, I was flooded with cards, packages, and emails. Thanks for sending birthday love! =)

Our anniversary

Today we had a great day celebrating our anniversary. FIVE YEARS!!! =)

We went to Castle Rock and did some shopping. Took the dogs to Washington Park. (We joked a lot today that we never guessed we'd be married 5 years and only have 2 dogs to show for it! Oh well...)





We went downtown for dinner and ate at P.F. Changs. Yum!


5 years later and I am still convinced that I married the kindest, most wonderful man in the world. I am so lucky! =)

Boys and Their Bikes =)

This weekend David went on a mountain biking trip with his friends. They camped at Laramie State Park and biked the local trails. He had a great time and took a well-deserved vacation from work!
