Too funny

Midas has started spending A LOT of time in Zoe's kennel. I think he's desperate to find places where he can hide and be away from Zoe. Unfortunately for him, she has started sitting outside the kennel to wait for him.

Day Trip

We bought a roof rack off craig's list and when we went to pick it up, we discovered we were half way to Colorado Springs! We spent the day at "Garden of the Gods" and "Seven Falls." SO pretty!

"Pink Panther" hits Cherry Creek Trail

David picked out a bike for me at REI. It's PINK! I call it the "Pink Panther" because I'm very stealthy on it. (HA!) Anyway, we biked the Cherry Creek Trail today. It starts in downtown Denver and goes to Cherry Creek Lake for a total of 24 miles round trip. It was fun! Denver is such a crazy blend of urban and outdoors. We saw what we think were prairie dogs, a coyote, and a deer. Check out the pics of the deer...downtown Denver is in the background!

Chataqua Park

This morning we drove to Chataqua Park in Boulder. We had heard there were great hiking trails here so headed up "The Royal Arch" with the pups. Whoa. It was a work out! The dogs LOVED it and people on the trail couldn't believe how well they were doing. Going up was actually easier, David had to hike down with both dogs because yours truly couldn't navigate the rocks AND hold on to a pulling dog!

We're here!

WEIRD! I can't believe we're here in Denver...

The transition was smooth...thanks to Steve and Patty! We were able to load the Uhaul quickly, stayed in Hays over night, and moved in to our apartment on Saturday. Steve and Patty stayed through Monday so we did some sight seeing with them. They were very helpful with unpacking and organizing. We were grateful! We just got internet this morning so David is starting his job search today. Cross your fingers!
